Liza says the most important thing to say is that just a few years ago I was an ordinary housewife. And now I’m living the life every freelancer dreams about. I’ve just published my second novel, and I started a community blog four years ago that is really kicking ass, and making money, and is read by everybody in our super-cool town.
Well, I have to say that I was never a housewife. Never did the wash or made the kids’ lunches. My husband always did that. But I was a freelance writer for many years, and much of that I absolutely hated what I was doing. I had to take off golden handcuffs. A lot of therapy was involved. And other stuff. Some of which I’m writing about in my third novel, CARS FROM A MARRIAGE.
Anyway. Here I am. I got here. I don’t have my own Wikipedia page yet, but there are 19,700 results for me in Google. So I guess I’m flying high.
All the official stuff, including reviews of my first novel, RATTLED, and old columns from the New York Times, is on my author website, debragalant.com. Oh yes, and the book I want you to buy: FEAR AND YOGA IN NEW JERSEY.
